Itinerary
Meet at the Yaletown Skytrain entrance (street level) on the corner of Mainland and Davie St.
Stroll the Concord Pacific Place Seawalk by the Roundhouse and David Lam Park to the water taxi dock and take the boat ride across False Creek. We will enjoy Granville Island, once an industrial manufacturing area, now a favourite hangout of locals and visitors alike. Visit the craft studios, art galleries, unique shops and even some houseboats. Granville Island Brewing Company and the amazing food, flowers and artisans at the Public Market will not be missed.
After crossing False Creek back to the downtown core experience historic Yaletown, one of Vancouver’s hottest residential neighborhoods. Walk by its quality restaurants, boutiques, galleries and waterfront residences along old railway spurs to experience the vibrant atmosphere.
Experience the heart of downtown with a stroll along Granville Street where Vancouver’s night-life seekers flock after sunset. Get a taste of Vancouver’s shopping hub with a walk along Robson Street.
Walk through historic Waterfront Station on the way to Gastown, Vancouver’s birthplace. Enjoy cobbled streets, heritage buildings, native galleries and unique shops. Visit the famous Steam Clock and explore various sites like “Blood Alley,” a beautiful side-street with an infamous legend. Whether it’s the tale of Gassy Jack, the inspiring architecture or the diverse window-shopping, you will love Gastown’s mix of old and new.
Located on the edge of the Downtown Eastside, getting to Chinatown will give you a glimpse into Vancouver’s colourful, grittier side. Enter a new world as you visit Chinatown to get an up-close view of this fascinating culture. Guests will be guided through the lively Chinese market, herbal medicine shops and historical alleys.
